Arjan Terziu

Arjan Terziu

Director

Arjan is the Director at Right Choice Services and brings over 24 years of experience working within Health and Social Care. He holds a Diploma in Leadership and Management and an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care, with extensive experience across supported accommodation, residential children's homes, fostering services, outreach services, charities and mental health support. Alongside his professional career, Arjan has over 13 years of experience as a foster carer, providing stable and nurturing homes for children and young people and has developed a particular specialism in supporting unaccompanied asylum-seeking children to settle, build resilience and achieve positive outcomes.

Throughout his career Arjan has demonstrated a strong commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable children and young people through compassionate, relationship-based practice and effective leadership. His broad management experience includes service development, leadership and management, recruitment, health and safety, governance, quality assurance property development, ensuring services consistently deliver high standards of care, accommodation and support. In recognition of his dedication to supporting individuals and strengthening communities, Arjan was honoured with the Ambassador for Peace Award for his outstanding contributions to community development. He remains passionate about creating safe, nurturing environments where children and young people are empowered to overcome adversity, develop independence and achieve their full potential.

Tara Young

Tara Young

Registered Service Manager

Tara is the Registered Service Manager at Right Choice Services and brings over 20 years of experience working with children, young people and families across residential care, supported accommodation, respite services and educational settings. She holds a BA (Hons) in Education Studies and a Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Children and Young People's Services.

Tara is passionate about achieving positive outcomes for children and young people, particularly those with complex needs and challenging life experiences. She has built a strong reputation for developing trusting relationships, creating nurturing environments and delivering personalised, child-centred support that enables young people to develop independence, resilience and confidence. As the Designated Safeguarding Lead, she has completed enhanced safeguarding training and works closely with Local Authorities, the LADO and partner agencies to ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and care. She is also committed to continually developing her knowledge through therapeutic training, ensuring her practice remains trauma-informed and relationship-based.

Under Tara's leadership, Right Choice Services achieved the highest possible grading of Outcome 1 at its first Ofsted inspection, reflecting her commitment to excellence, strong leadership and the positive outcomes achieved by young people. She is dedicated to continuous improvement and empowering both her team and the young people they support to achieve their full potential and successfully transition into adulthood.

Robert Toska

Robert Toska

Robert is a highly accomplished social care professional with over 20 years of experience in safeguarding, quality assurance, and leadership within children's services. He has held a range of senior roles, including Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO), Team Manager, and Deputy Head of Service for a Leaving Care Service. His extensive expertise spans Looked After Children, safeguarding practice, fostering regulations, court proceedings, and transition planning.

As an IRO for over a decade, Robert has been a consistent advocate for the voice of the child, ensuring care and permanency plans are child-centred, legally compliant, and outcome-focused. He has led multi-agency reviews, chaired complex planning meetings, conducted in-depth case audits, and managed formal dispute resolution processes to drive improvements in care quality.

In his leadership roles, Robert has managed teams of Social Workers, overseen service budgets, developed and implemented policies, and embedded health and safety and risk management protocols. He has also delivered workforce training, chaired transition panels, and played a key role in preparing services for Ofsted inspections, contributing to positive outcomes. With a strong track record in service development, robust safeguarding knowledge, and proven leadership capabilities, Robert is deeply committed to promoting the welfare of children and young people while ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory framework standards.

Gentiana (Genta) Vasili

Gentiana (Genta) Vasili

Admin Officer & Health and Safety Officer

Gentiana is a proactive and detail-oriented Admin and Health & Safety Officer with over four years' experience in supported accommodation and organizational operations. She has a proven track record in HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and staff training, combined with expertise in health and safety management across multiple housing sites.

Skilled in conducting audits, risk assessments, and ensuring regulatory compliance, she excels in developing policies that maintain safe, well-governed environments. Gentiana is highly organized, dependable, and confident in liaising with external agencies, regulators, and payroll providers. With strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, she builds effective working relationships while ensuring high standards of operational and safety compliance across the organization.

Eugen Bardho

Eugen Bardho

Team Leader

Eugen has a strong background in education, having worked as an English teacher in Albania before moving into youth support and community-based roles. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's in Pedagogy with a focus on Didactics, equipping him with valuable skills in teaching, communication, and mentoring. Alongside his academic achievements, Eugen has completed extensive training in safeguarding, health and safety, first aid, mental health awareness, and supporting young people at risk of exploitation or abuse. Fluent in Albanian, English, and Italian, Eugen brings excellent communication skills and a commitment to creating safe, inclusive, and supportive environments for children and young people.

Fatmira Pjetri

Fatmira Pjetri

Team Leader

Fatmira Pjetri is an accomplished social work and child protection professional with over 20 years of experience in disability services, education, and community development. She served as Project Manager for the Community Centre for Disability Services at World Vision Albania, where she leaded a multidisciplinary team to provide specialized support to children and youth with disabilities, both in the centre and through mobile and school-based services. Throughout her career, Fatmira has demonstrated strong expertise in project management, team leadership, stakeholder engagement, and advocacy for social inclusion. She has successfully overseen programs impacting thousands of children and youth, delivered life skills and vocational training, coordinated emergency responses, and built sustainable partnerships with local authorities and NGOs. Fatmira holds a degree in English from "Aleksander Xhuvani" University and has completed numerous professional development programs, including international child protection training, project management for development practitioners, and specialized courses in disability rights and inclusive education. She is fluent in English, proficient in Italian, and is passionate about empowering vulnerable communities, promoting equity, and ensuring high-quality, sustainable services for children and youth.

Riada Mjeshtri

Riada is a highly experienced educator and children's support professional with over a decade of teaching experience in primary and secondary schools. She combines her expertise in curriculum planning, special needs education, and modern teaching methods with extensive training in safeguarding, child protection, and managing challenging behaviours. Trained in key areas including Safeguarding Children and Adults, Mental Health for Young People, De-escalation Techniques, First Aid, and Risk Management, Riada is equipped to lead a team in providing safe, nurturing, and structured support for children and young people in residential or supported living settings. Riada is a skilled communicator and team leader, adept at mentoring staff, managing day-to-day operations, and creating positive, developmental environments where young people can thrive. Her leadership, professional integrity, and dedication make her a trusted figure for both colleagues and the children in her care.

Zoe is a dedicated and experienced Team Leader with extensive expertise in supporting young people and adults in care settings. She excels in emotional, social, and practical support, helping clients achieve independence, manage finances, and engage in education, training, and employment. With a strong background in leadership roles across social care and retail management, Zoe combines excellent interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills with a positive, professional approach. She is highly trained in safeguarding, risk management, and health and safety, and holds qualifications in residential childcare and children, young people, and family practice.

Deborah Howlett

Deborah Howlett

Team Leader

Deborah brings extensive experience working with children, young people, and families in both educational and community settings. She has supported children with special educational needs (SEN) in group and one-to-one environments, with a strong focus on safeguarding, managing challenging behaviour, and promoting positive development. She holds a wide range of professional training, including Safeguarding (Levels 1 & 2), Health & Safety, First Aid, Mental Health Awareness, and specialist training in areas such as autism, child exploitation, and supporting young people at risk. Deborah is reliable, compassionate, and committed to creating safe, supportive environments for those in her care. Enrolled in NVQ 5.

Linda is an experienced and dedicated care professional with over a decade of hands-on experience supporting vulnerable adults, young people, and those with complex needs. She has worked across residential, mental health, and community care settings, delivering person-centred support with compassion and professionalism. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Education and an NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management, Linda combines strong academic knowledge with practical expertise in care planning, safeguarding, and supporting individuals with dignity and respect. She has also completed extensive specialist training, including safeguarding children and adults, first aid, psychological first aid, mental health awareness, risk assessment, and working with young people at risk of exploitation, abuse, or challenging circumstances. Passionate about improving lives, Linda is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, fostering inclusive environments, and empowering people to reach their full potential.

Team Leader for 18+ Supported Living

With over 20 years of experience supporting children, young people and families, I have worked across Youth Offending Services, substance misuse services, the Probation Service and Parenting Support. My career has been dedicated to safeguarding vulnerable young people, reducing risk, promoting positive outcomes and helping individuals overcome barriers to success. I bring extensive expertise in trauma-informed practice, child protection, risk assessment, multi-agency partnership working and supporting young people with complex needs. At Right Choice Services, I am committed to delivering high-quality, young person-centred support that empowers young people to develop independence, build resilience and achieve their full potential in safe, nurturing environments.

Florian Shabanaj

Florian Shabanaj

Team Leader

Florian is an experienced Team Leader with a strong background in operations management, social care, and safeguarding. With over a decade managing production and operations at FA & BI SH.P.K he has developed excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Florian has also supported international organizations such as OSCE/ODIHR as a long-term observer, demonstrating reliability, professionalism, and adaptability. Alongside his managerial expertise, he has completed extensive specialist training in safeguarding children and adults, risk management, health and safety (Level 3/4), mental health, challenging behaviour, and youth exploitation. Fluent in Albanian and English, with good Italian, Florian is highly committed to building safe, supportive environments and guiding teams to achieve positive outcomes for young people and communities.

Brikelda Shabanaj

Brikelda has a strong academic background in language, communication, and linguistics. She has a deep interest in learning, communication, and personal development, and continues to build her knowledge through training, research, and professional courses. Brikelda is a multilingual language professional and educator with over a decade of experience in teaching, interpreting, translation, and support work. Currently, she works as a support worker/key worker, helping young people develop independence, life skills, and confidence through person-centred care and close collaboration with professional networks. Known for her friendly and reliable nature, Brikelda brings a positive and people-focused approach to everything she does. She communicates clearly, listens carefully, and pays close attention to detail. Her strengths include strong organisation, adaptability, critical thinking, and the ability to work comfortably with people from different backgrounds. Brikelda values professionalism, trust, and clear communication, and is known for creating respectful, supportive, and effective working relationships.

Erjona Selko

Erjona Selko

Team Leader

Erjona is a highly qualified academic and care professional with a Postgraduate Diploma in Cancer and Therapeutics from Queen Mary University of London, where she graduated with distinction. She also holds a Master's degree in Environmental Protection, a graded certification in Ecology, Behaviour, Evolution and Biosystematics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, and a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry, all completed with honours. Her professional experience includes two years working in supported living, where she has provided direct care and guidance to young people, promoting independence and wellbeing. Before this, she worked as an Assistant Lecturer in University where she delivered seminars, supervised dissertations, and supported students in laboratory practices. Alongside her teaching, she has conducted research in biodiversity, environmental protection, cancer therapeutics, and genomics. Erjona is passionate about education, mentoring, and creating positive environments for growth. She has also volunteered as a mentor for children with special educational needs and represented student voices to improve learning experiences. With a strong balance of academic excellence, hands-on care experience, and organisational skills, she brings knowledge, compassion, and dedication to her role in supported living.
